New single released: Confined Telecaster

This is the first music I played on my new Fender Telecaster, I bought it on eBay and got it shipped just the day the first lockdown started here, last march.

Recently (seven months later) I went back to that master, added to the original short recording a second exposition of the theme with a coda, and introduced a rhythm section (bass and drums) and a guitar solo, performed on the same instrument with an ebow.

A tribute to those cruelly departed too soon 13/Nov/2015 – 2020
Melodic Ambient, synthetic proto-symphonic-poem with piano.
A 4 voice chorale, performed on 4 synths, slowed down and treated with different granular fx and added a piano part.

My track is this advance single from my upcoming FILM NOIR & CITY NIGHTS album:

 

Clarinet performance inspired by Yusef Lateef and performed by Gustavo Bulgach in Los Angeles, recorded on his telephone and sent to Paris where it was edited, harmonized and used as the basis of this composition, added Fender Rhodes, Upright Bass, brass samples and electronica.
